Furqan Mosque in Ameenee Magu sustained damage early this morning after a rock was thrown at one of its doors, shattering the glass.
According to police, the incident was reported shortly after 2:00 a.m., and an investigation is currently underway. The act of vandalism reportedly targeted the women’s prayer area, where the outer glass door was broken using a pavement stone.
In addition to the broken door, tiles and toilet door locks within the mosque were also damaged.
