Fuvahmulah City Council Seeks Investors for Bottled Water, Beverage Manufacturing Facility

Fuvahmulah City Local Authority Company Limited (FLAC), owned by the city’s council, has invited local and international investors to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) to develop and operate a bottled drinking water and non-alcoholic packaged beverage manufacturing facility in Fuvahmulah.
In a gazette announcement published on 19 July, Fuvahmulah City Council said that the project will be developed under a Design-Build-Finance-Operate (DBFO) framework and forms the first stage of a two-stage procurement process.
FLAC said eligible investors, manufacturers, companies and consortiums with relevant technical experience, operational capability and financial capacity can submit EOIs in accordance with the requirements outlined in the EOI document.

Applicants seeking clarification must submit their queries to lac@fuvahmulah.gov.mv by 11:59 tonight.
Completed EOIs must be submitted electronically to the same email address by 11:59 pm on August 20.
Applicants have been instructed to use the subject line: “EOI – Manufacturing Facility Based in Fuvahmulah – [Applicant Name]”.
