Gadhdhoo Fisherman Found Dead After Going Missing at Sea

A 44-year-old man from GDh. Gadhdhoo was found dead this morning after being reported missing while out fishing, police said.

Police said they received a report at approximately 5:40 am early morning, that a fisherman who had gone out to sea was missing.

Following search efforts, the man was located underwater and brought to Gadhdhoo Health Centre.

According to police, staff at the health centre confirmed that the man had already died by the time he was brought to the facility.

The deceased was identified as Ishaq Rasheed, 44, of Asia, GDh. Gadhdhoo.

Police said the case is under investigation.
