The Health Corner promotes the cultivation of healthy office spaces and facilitates individuals in screening, self-identifying, and monitoring the early onset of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) to modify behavioural risk factors without the need to visit a hospital.

Addressing the attendees at the opening ceremony, Minister of Health Ahmed Naseem highlighted that while many are cognizant of major health issues, relatively little attention is given to tackling such concerns. Therefore, he stressed the necessity of directing greater focus towards addressing NCDs, including cancer and stroke.
Minister Naseem further advocated for the establishment of Health Corners in schools, private companies, and government offices. He emphasised the significance of proactively taking charge of such matters amidst the ongoing global changes to combat the proliferation of NCDs.
The Health Corner initiative will serve as an easily accessible resource for individuals to learn about healthy practices, recognize potential risks, and adopt preventive measures. By providing information and support, the government aims to empower citizens to assume responsibility for their health and well-being.
As the Health Corner initiative commences its implementation, the Ministry of Health envisages a positive shift in health attitudes and behaviours throughout the nation, ultimately leading to a healthier and more resilient society.
