Under the programme, farmers will receive practical training in cultivating cucumbers, melons, chillies, and bell peppers. To date, 11 out of the 12 islands have actively participated in greenhouse operations. These islands include:

  • Haa Dhaalu Atoll: Makunudhoo, Neykurendhoo, Nolhivaramfaru
  • Haa Alifu Atoll: Kelaa, Uligamu, Molhadhoo, Filladhoo
  • Shaviyani Atoll: Narudhoo, Goidhoo, Foakaidhoo

In addition to greenhouse construction and crop cultivation, MAP continues to deliver targeted training programmes to help farmers build their skills and adopt modern, climate-resilient agricultural techniques.
