Higher Education Opens Applications for MTCP Scholarships

The Ministry of Higher Education has announced the commencement of applications for the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) scholarships for the year 2023. These scholarships, offered by the Malaysian Government, provide partial funding for eligible candidates, covering tuition fees and other expenses.

The scholarship program offers courses with durations of either 24 months or 36 months, and successful applicants will have the opportunity to pursue master’s degree programs in various fields. The eligibility criteria specify that candidates must be under the age of 45 to be considered for the scholarships.
Interested individuals can apply for the scholarships online. The application period extends until the end of this month, and applicants are required to submit the endorsement form to the Foreign Ministry by the 22nd of this month.
To ensure the quality and recognition of the educational institutions and courses chosen by applicants, the Ministry of Higher Education advises students to verify if their chosen institute is recognized by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) and if the selected course is accredited by the MQA.
