Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has announced a revised procedure for patients seeking treatment at its Flu Clinic, requiring all visitors to first report to the hospital’s main triage counter.

According to the hospital, patients must obtain a QueBee token labelled “Flu clinic” upon arrival. A triage nurse will then assess each patient and determine whether they should be directed to the Flu Clinic located in Room 10 or referred to the Emergency Room, depending on the severity of their condition.

IGMH said the measure is intended to ensure appropriate patient assessment, improve patient flow and prioritise emergency cases requiring immediate medical attention.

The hospital advised patients to follow the new procedure to avoid delays in receiving care.
