Illegally Parked Vehicles on Ameenee Magu to Be Towed

The police have announced that starting next week, they will tow unlawfully parked vehicles on Ameenee Magu. This measure has been implemented to address the issue of illegal parking and improve the overall traffic conditions in the area.

Authorities have highlighted that the presence of illegally parked vehicles on Ameenee Magu is causing traffic congestion and creating obstacles for both pedestrians and other vehicles. In response to these concerns, the police have issued a directive to remove such vehicles, effective from Thursday. Following a three-day inspection period, the towing of illegally parked vehicles will commence on Sunday.

Following the recent opening of Ameenee magu to the public, a significant number of four-wheeled vehicles have been observed parked on both sides of the road. 

Consequently, complaints regarding road congestion and travel difficulties have been lodged.
