The Maldives Correctional Service (MCS) has organised its first ‘Inmates Futsal Tournament’ for undertrials at Maafushi Prison.

The 15-day tournament was part of MCS’s broader initiatives aimed at inmate welfare and rehabilitation through structured recreational activities. Following the final match, a fair play game was held between the team and a group of ministers and senior officials, an event described as the first of its kind in the Maldives.
