Islamic Ministry Facilitates Eid-al-Adha Prayers in Four Locations

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has made arrangements to hold mass prayer congregations in four locations within the Greater Male’ Region to celebrate Eid-al-Adha.

The prayer congregations are scheduled to take place at the Maafannu Stadium, the Hulhumale’ synthetic track and cricket stadium, and the Villingili Football Ground.
Additionally, Eid prayers will be held at 25 mosques located in Male’, Villimale’, and Hulhumale’, as well as at designated mosques in all inhabited islands across the country.
Among the designated locations, 17 mosques are situated in the capital city, three mosques in Hulhumale’ Phase I, two mosques in Hulhumale’ Phase II, two mosques in Hulhule’, and one mosque in Villimale’.
Furthermore, due to the growing population, prayer congregations will also be organized in Hulhumale’ Phase II. As per the calendar, Eid-al-Adha is set to be observed on June 28.
