ITFC Chief Executive Pays Courtesy Call on President Muizzu

Chief Executive Officer of the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), Eng. Adeeb Yousuf Al Aama, paid a courtesy call on President Muizzu at the official presidential residence, Mulee’aage, according to a press release from the President’s Office.

The statement indicates that the delegation focused discussions on economic cooperation, trade development, infrastructure projects, and strategic measures to advance the development priorities of the Maldives.

According to the President’s Office release, both parties concluded the meeting by reaffirming their shared commitment to strengthening the bilateral relationship and expanding operational ties between the Maldivian government and the ITFC.

The visit coincided with the formal execution of a new US$1.5 billion trade finance framework agreement between the ITFC and the Ministry of Finance.
