While the meeting serves the purpose of fulfilling legal procedures, its primary aim is to foster stronger connections between the council and the public. The council intends to ensure that each neighbourhood in the city is represented, emphasising inclusivity and community engagement.
The format of this year’s meeting will follow the same structure as the previous one. The council encourages participation from residents, who are invited to attend and interact with the council, including Mayor Muizzu.
Such gatherings have proven to be highly successful in the past, contributing to the council’s commitment to decentralisation as outlined in the Decentralization Act.
