MDP to Offer Legal Assistance for Politically Motivated Dismissals

The opposition party, Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), has announced its intention to provide legal support to individuals dismissed from state-owned companies and civil service positions for political reasons.

In a statement released today, the MDP asserted that employees who do not align with the government or President Dr Mohamed Muizzu are facing intimidation and dismissal due to their political beliefs.
