Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Begins Official Visit to Saudi Arabia
Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Mohamed Ameen departed for Saudi Arabia on Monday for an official visit.
The trip was arranged at the invitation of Saudi Arabia’s Transport and Logistics Minister, Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser, and the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz Al-Duailej.
During his visit, Minister Ameen is scheduled to meet with various Saudi government officials to discuss the development of regulatory frameworks aimed at enhancing safety measures in transportation.
This visit follows an earlier official trip by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, who met with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud. The discussions between Zameer and Al-Saud focused on the long-standing relations between the two countries, areas of mutual benefit, and the potential for expanding cooperation between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
