The Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sports and Fitness has signed agreements for the development of a handball court and a futsal pitch in Fuvamulah City.
According to the news article published on the Ministry’s website, the signing of these two agreements took place this morning at the Ministry. On behalf of the Ministry, the agreements were signed by Deputy Minister Ali Nizar, while Managing Director Ahmed Shahid signed on behalf of Proxy Group Private Limited.

The article states that the development of the futsal pitch on the island is also to be completed within 90 days. This work was awarded to the company for MVR 2,079,384.71 (Two million seventy-nine thousand three hundred eighty-four Rufiyaa and seventy-one Laari).
Authorities report that currently, work on futsal pitches is ongoing in 15 islands, while handball court development is underway in 3 islands.
