The central bank will conduct the week-long survey from 25 to 31 July 2026 to gather data for the country’s balance of payments statistics.
According to MMA, their staff stationed in the arrival hall will collect details from Maldivian citizens returning from overseas trips. The survey covers key travel metrics, including primary destinations, travel purpose, funding sources, airfare costs, overall travel expenses, and medical expenditures.
