MNDF Aids in Water Drainage After Heavy Rains in Male’ City

In response to the significant rainfall that deluged Male’ city last night, the MNDF Fire and Rescue Service sprang into action, deploying pumps to assist in the water drainage efforts.
The operation commenced at 11:48 pm near the vicinity of the Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), where flooding had occurred due to the relentless downpour. With unwavering commitment, the firefighters diligently worked through the night to alleviate the waterlogged areas.
Their work was completed by 01:58 am, effectively mitigating the immediate impact of the heavy rains on the city.
