MNDF to Celebrate 133rd Anniversary With Street March in Malé Today

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) will commemorate its 133rd anniversary today with a street march through designated areas of Malé, beginning at 16:15.
The march, which will highlight various sectors and services of the MNDF, is expected to feature participation from multiple military divisions and will be accompanied by performances from the MNDF band at every designated stop. The army will be stationed in five key locations throughout the capital, and the march is scheduled to conclude at Kalhuthukkalaakoshi.

Stops along the route include Ameer Ahmed Magu in front of the President’s Office, Sosun Magu in front of the Dhivehi Language Academy, the four corners of Majeedhee Magu and Chaandhanee Magu, in front of the Million Bookshop on Majeedhee Magu, and the northwest corner of Boduthakurufaanu Magu near Kalhuthukkalaakoshi.
President and Commander-in-Chief Dr Mohamed Muizzu will attend the segment of the march in front of the President’s Office.
