MPS Reveals 99 New Recruits Join to Serve After Taking Oath

The Maldives Police Service (MPS) has announced that 99 new recruits have recently taken their oath to join the force.

The solemn oath was administered by High Court Judge Mohamed Faisal, marking the commencement of their service within the police force.

Among the new recruits were 27 female officers, 51 male officers, 10 female special constabulary constables, and 11 male special constabulary constables. Following the administration of the oath, each recruit signed their respective declarations, affirming their commitment to upholding the law and serving the community.

The ceremony was attended by esteemed officials, including Head of People Directorate, Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Abdul Rahman, Head of Workforce Planning and Management, Superintendent Ahmed Bishar, and Head of Recruitment and Deployment Unit, Chief Inspector of Police Hussain Shareef.

The event underscores the ongoing efforts of the Maldives Police Service to enhance its workforce and ensure the safety and security of the Maldivian people.
