MRC Opens Applications for Youth Peer-Educator Programme

The Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) is calling for applications for its Youth As Agents of Behavioural Change (YABC) Programme, aimed at fostering positive action within communities. 

Scheduled for 12th to 16th May 2024 in Male’ City, the programme seeks to recruit Peer-Educators to drive behavioural change initiatives.

The primary objective of the YABC Peer Educators training is to establish a structured programme for youth peer educators within the MRC. 

By integrating both staff and young adult volunteers, this initiative aims to form a foundational group of Peer Educators committed to upholding YABC principles and strategies. Through their efforts, the programme seeks to facilitate the implementation of YABC initiatives across various communities in the Maldives.
