The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has disclosed that a total of 61 fire incidents occurred in the Maldives throughout the past year. Monthly figures indicate fluctuations, with November recording the highest number at 13 incidents.

The monthly breakdown of fire incidents is as follows:
- January: 0
- February: 4
- March: 3
- April: 1
- May: 4
- June: 3
- July: 5
- August: 8
- September: 6
- October: 8
- November: 13
- December: 6
When categorised by Atoll, the distribution is as follows:
- Kaafu Atoll: 46 incidents
- Noonu Atoll: 1 incident
- Meemu Atoll: 1 incident
- Lhaviyani Atoll: 1 incident
- Vaavu Atoll: 1 incident
- Seenu Atoll: 3 incidents
- Shaviyani Atoll: 2 incidents
- Gaafu Dhaalu: 4 incidents
- Gaafu Alif: 1 incident
- Haa Alifu: 1 incident
Kaafu Atoll saw majority of incidents, accounting for 46 cases, while other atolls reported fewer occurrences, ranging from 1 to 4 incidents.
