New Police Stations Established in Four Islands

The Maldives Police Service has extended its presence with the inauguration of police stations on four islands in the northern region. 

The newly established posts are located in B. Maalhos, B. Kihaadhoo, N. Henbadhoo and N. Lhohi.

Commissioner of Police Ali Shujau, alongside Maalhos Council President Abdullah Shujau, presided over the inauguration ceremony held in Maalhos today. Meanwhile, the Kihaadhoo Police Post was formally opened by Commissioner Ali Shujau and Kihaadhoo Council President Hussain Shaafiu.

Following protocol, the national flag and the police flag were raised at each station upon their inauguration.

The opening ceremonies were attended by a diverse group, including Executive Officers, Commissioned Officers, and other police personnel, alongside village councillors, members of the Women’s Development Committee, and representatives from other agencies.
