New RO Plant Installed in Rasdhoo to Meet Rising Water Demand

In response to the escalating water requirements of the community, STELCO has successfully established an additional 100-ton reverse osmosis (RO) plant in AA. Rasdhoo. The primary objective of this development is to provide the local residents with reliable and high-quality water services. With the integration of this new facility, the total water generation capacity in Rasdhoo has significantly increased, reaching a total of 160 tonnes.
This newly inaugurated plant holds a significant distinction as the first of its kind where the company’s dedicated employees undertook the entire commissioning process, effectively bringing it into operation. Managing Director Ahmed Shareef recently held a meeting with the diligent staff members belonging to the Water, Sewerage, and Waste Management Department, commending their outstanding work and contributions.

During the meeting, MD Ahmed Shareef expressed his sincere appreciation for the employees’ unwavering commitment and acknowledged their vital role in the successful establishment of the RO plant. He further extended his gratitude and congratulations to the employees for their remarkable efforts in executing the company’s groundbreaking initiative.
