NGO Donates Umrah Trip to 4 People in Addu

On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, NGO Odassau Sports & Recreation (OSR) has donated Umrah trips to four people in Addu City after a draw.

“We initially tried to donate Umrah to three people. But with the help of a benefactor at the last minute, we were able to give Umrah to four people. In addition, five cash vouchers of MVR 1,000 were also given as gifts,” said Imran Saeed, one of the co-founders of OSR.

A special ceremony was held at Noorani School Hall last Thursday. The ceremony was graced by the Speaker of the Parliament, Mohamed Aslam. Other special guests included Addu City Mayor Ali Nizar, Addu City Police Commander Mohammed Masood, South Hithadhoo Member of Parliament Ibrahim Nazil and Hithadhoo Moolukede Kirivau Councilor Ibrahim Sheenaz.

OSR is an association dedicated to youth of Addu and sports.
