Noorul Azaan 1447 Competition Applications Open Until 15 January

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has confirmed that applications for the Noorul Azaan 1447 competition will remain open until 15 January.

This year, the competition has been opened to participants from all atolls, expanding from last year when it was limited to Male’ City. The event aims to promote devotion to Islam and recognise excellence in calling the Islamic prayer.

Auditions will be conducted across the atolls, with winners from each location progressing to compete during Ramadan. The competition will consist of two rounds, with participants performing the Azaan in their chosen style in the first round, and the top seven performers advancing to the final stage.
