Ooredoo Announces Team Husbulhi as Masrace 2024 Champions

Ooredoo Maldives has announced that Team Husbulhi has won MVR 25,000 in the Ooredoo Masrace 2024, held in Lh. Naifaru.

This victory marks the conclusion of the last segment of the annual fishing tournament. This has become an integral part of the Maldivian annual calendar.

This year, as part of Ooredoo Maldives’ 19th Anniversary celebration, Masrace 2024 will be held in 3 locations: K. Himmafushi, Lh. Naifaru and GDh. Thinadhoo. 

A number of special awards were given out to the winning teams and fishermen after a day of competitive fishing among the teams. 

• Champion Team: Husbulhi with 921.4 points
• 2nd Place: Chill Broz with 698.45 Points
• 3rd Place: Team Korakali with 438.3 Points
• Heaviest Catch: Mohamed Nasheed (Team Alifas) Muda Handhi of 9.4 kg
• Best Fisherman: Ali Abdulla (Chill Broz) – 24 Fish
• Best Fisherwoman: JAwada Ahmed (Team Korakali) with 15 Fish
