Ooredoo Maldives Opens Registration for Doha Marathon

Ooredoo Maldives has opened registration for runners interested in participating in the Ooredoo Doha Marathon 2026, announcing sponsorship for 15 participants in one of the region’s most popular sporting events.
The marathon, which attracts more than 15,000 runners from around the world, is set to take place on 16 January 2026 in Doha, Qatar. Ooredoo Maldives will cover the registration fees for the selected runners.

Interested participants must meet the eligibility criteria and enter a lucky draw before 24 November 2024. Applicants are required to have previously completed a 10K, a half-marathon, or a full marathon and must provide verification details. They must also hold a valid Maldivian passport that meets all travel requirements for Qatar.
