Ooredoo Nation Celebrates Three Maldivian Teams Advancing to South Asia PUBG Championship

Maldivian E-Sports teams Syndicate, LNN SDMZ and DCM DMT have secured qualification for the PUBG MOBILE South Asia Regional Championships 2026 after finishing as the top three teams in the PMNC 2026 – Maldives Fall.

The national finals brought together 16 of the Maldives’ top PUBG MOBILE teams for a LAN competition held at Youth Hub, Malé, on August 14 and 15. The teams competed across 10 matches over two days, with Ooredoo Nation serving as the title sponsor.

Syndicate won the national championship, while LNN SDMZ finished as first runner-up and DCM DMT placed second runner-up. Their podium finishes earned all three teams places in the South Asia regional competition.

Ooredoo Maldives Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz said the qualification of three Maldivian teams was in line with Ooredoo Nation’s aim of creating opportunities for local esports athletes to compete internationally and represent the Maldives on larger stages.

Through Ooredoo Nation, Ooredoo Maldives has continued to support the development of the local gaming and esports sector by providing platforms for players to compete and progress through increasingly competitive tournaments.
