PGO Gathers MVR 7 Million Worth of Items and Evidence Against Manday

Prosecutor General Hussain Shameem announced today that investigators have discovered items worth approximately MVR 7 million and compiled compelling evidence to bring forth over 200 charges against Hassan Mamdhooh, commonly known as Manday.
The seized items include 200 unopened perfume bottles, luxury bags, and jewelry. These findings add a layer of complexity to the case, suggesting potential links between the alleged fraud and extravagant personal acquisitions.
The charges stem from alleged fraudulent activities related to the sale of apartments in K-Park Residences, a condominium development in Hulhumale’.
In a press briefing, Shameem stated that the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) anticipates filing the charges against Manday early next week. The prosecution’s case has been built upon a thorough investigation into the suspected fraud involving K-Park Residences.
As part of the ongoing inquiry, law enforcement authorities executed a raid on a penthouse apartment developed by FW Construction, believed to be connected to the case.
The police have reason to believe that this high-value penthouse, valued at MVR 7.8 million, was acquired through the illicit sale of two apartments from K-Park Residences to four different buyers.
