PILC to Host Mobile Legal Aid Clinic in Kinolhas
The Public Interest Law Centre (PILC) is set to host a Mobile Legal Aid Clinic this weekend in R. Kinolhas.
The initiative aims to provide free legal services and increase legal awareness within the community. The clinic will offer a Legal Aid Camp on Friday, 13th September 2024, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Harbour Hut area in R. Kinolhas. Attendees will have access to free legal advice and attestation services.

Additionally, a Legal Awareness Session will be held the same day from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the local school. The session will cover key areas of Maldivian law, including the legal system, employment law, land issues, and family law.
This initiative is being organised in collaboration with the Kinolhas Council and the Secretariat of the North Maalhosmadulu Atoll Council, with support from the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative and USAID Maldives.
