They have arrested two Indian women, Rajeswari Sivakumar (24) and Esha Antonnette (24), under a court order. They are to be kept under state custody for 15 days.

The police said this is an ongoing investigation.

Since the videos relating to this case were posted on X yesterday, Physio Clinic has terminated the two employees from their organisation. They said they were deeply saddened that this happened and had closed their Hulhumale’ branch temporarily, due to the seriousness of the matter.

Another parent has come forward with injuries sustained on the clinic’s premises as well. However, this parent said no action was taken as they did not have video proof regarding the injuries their child allegedly received at the clinic.
