Police Arrests Four Suspects in Violent Incident in Addu

In response to the violent incidents that occurred in Addu City on the night of December 1, a recent statement by the Minister of Homeland Security & Technology, confirmed the arrest of four individuals allegedly involved in the altercations. Following incidents of violence on the nights of November 29 and December 1, 2023, in Addu City, the Maldives Police Service has taken steps to reinforce safety in the area. Specialized teams have been deployed from Male’ to Addu City to address security concerns and ensure the well-being of residents.
