Police Investigate Damage to Hulhumalé Mosque Entrance

Police are investigating an incident in which the glass entrance door of a mosque in Hulhumalé was damaged late last night.

According to the police, the incident was reported at 3:47 am and involved the smashing of the glass panel on the main entrance of Masjid Azeeza Moosa, commonly known as Azeeza Mosque, on Chambeylee Magu in Hulhumalé Phase 1.

Photographs from the scene show that the glass on the mosque’s main entrance door was shattered in two places.

Police said the case is under investigation.
