The threats appeared in a comment during the live broadcast of the president’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

Assistant Commissioner Ahmed Shifan, in a statement on X yesterday, confirmed that authorities are treating the threats as a serious matter and have launched an investigation.

The comment was posted under the name “Ablo Maid Yousuf,” though it remains unclear whether this is a real individual or if the name and photo are being used falsely. Police have not provided further details on the investigation.
