Police Investigates Vehicle Scam by Megatron Motors

Maldives Police Service (MPS) is investigating a suspected scam by a company called Megatron Motors Maldives Wave International for allegedly collecting money from customers promising to import vehicles.

The MPS Economic Crime Department has taken the lead in probing the activities of the said company. In light of ongoing investigations, the MPS has urged individuals who have conducted financial transactions with Megatron Motors Maldives Wave International to come forward and provide any pertinent information to the department’s hotline at 9790048.

A Facebook page operating under the name Megatron Motors has been observed showcasing images and videos of various high-end vehicles since 2022.
