Police, MACL Sign MoU to Strengthen Airport Crisis Management

The Maldives Police Service and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance airport crisis management and emergency response.
Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen signed the agreement on behalf of the Maldives Police Service, while MACL Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed signed for the airport operator.
According to the police, the MoU aims to strengthen coordination during emergencies by clearly defining roles and responsibilities and improving real-time communication between agencies. The agreement is expected to enable faster and more effective responses to incidents at airports.
