Police Search for Man Ordered to be Presented Before Drug Court Under Custody

The Maldives Police Service is searching for a man who has been ordered to be presented before the Drug Court under police custody.

According to the Police, the court issued the order after previous attempts to present the individual before the court were unsuccessful. Maldives Police Service stated that officers are currently searching for Adam Ibrahim, 32, of Finiroalhi, R. Dhuvaafaru.

The Police stated that Adam is wanted in connection with a case filed at the Drug Court. As he was not presented before the court as required, the court ordered the police to locate him, take him into custody, and present him before the court on 8 June 2026.

The authorities stated that anyone with information regarding Adam’s whereabouts is requested to contact the Police Custodial Department on 9991442.
