Police Seize a Large Amount of Alcohol from Dhigurah

Police have seized a large quantity of alcohol from Dhigurah during a special operation.

The operation was carried out on 21 January due following reports of alcohol being found in the Thundi area of the island. During the operation, police confiscated 33 bottles and 169 cans of alcohol.

No arrests have been made in connection with the case so far.

Police said the matter remains under investigation.
