The Practice Parliament for Youth has been an ongoing collaboration between the UNDP and the Maldivian People’s Majlis since 2021, with the shared objective of amplifying youth voices and empowering them to become catalysts for change. The program has made considerable strides in engaging youth, having successfully involved 69 females, 59 males, and 18 Persons With Disabilities thus far.
The Practice Parliament for Youth serves as a guiding platform for young individuals, providing them with invaluable insights into the intricate workings of the parliament. It not only imparts knowledge but also empowers participants, particularly women, to become architects of society, capable of shaping their own future.
