President and First Lady to Host Official Independence Day Meeting at Islamic Center

The President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the First Lady Fazna Ahmed are scheduled to hold an official meeting on Tuesday, 25th July, in honour of Independence Day at the Islamic Center.

Invitations have been dispatched by the President’s Office to an extensive list of esteemed guests for the official meeting. Among the recipients are former presidents, heads of state, distinguished individuals, members of parliament, ministers holding various portfolios, heads of the judiciary, officials from independent institutions, members of diverse commissions, and political officeholders.
Additionally, those who have received national awards and state service accolades, along with members of Maldivian political parties, city council representatives, board members of government-owned corporations, civil servants, and individuals in various corporate positions, have also been invited.
Furthermore, the guest list includes a range of attendees such as youth, women, people with special needs, exceptional athletes representing various sports, and students from universities, colleges, and schools.
International dignitaries will also be in attendance at the momentous meeting, as they join in the celebration of Independence Day.
