Registration Opens for Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race 2026

Registration has opened for the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) 2026, with the Maldives’ largest running event scheduled to take place on November 20.

The event will feature Half Marathon, 10K and 5K open categories, alongside a 5K Teams Category for corporate organisations, resorts, running clubs and colleges and universities.

The 5K Teams Category will require teams of four eligible runners representing the same organisation. Teams can be mixed, all-male or all-female, with the winning team in each category determined by the combined finishing times of its four members.

Organisations can register multiple teams, while each team must be registered together by a designated team leader. Participants may enter either the 5K Open Category or the 5K Teams Category, but not both.

Each registered runner will receive an official race T-shirt, bib with a timing chip, string bag and finisher medal.

The organisers said the event aims to promote health and wellness, teamwork and friendly competition while supporting a social cause.
