The week following the closure has been designated as a professional development week. During this period, students will not attend classes.

Schools will be officially closed from 9 to 18 March, covering the final ten days of Ramadan. Educational institutions will also remain closed for the three-day Eid al-Fitr holiday, which is expected to begin on 20 March.

Students are scheduled to return to school on 23 March, resulting in a total holiday period of approximately 24 days.

The current academic year began on 27 January, meaning the extended school break comes after roughly one month of classes.
