SHE to Host Week-Long Motherhood Support Programme in July

Society for Health and Education (SHE) will host a six-day programme titled “Thrive Through Motherhood” from 1 July to 7 July, aimed at supporting individuals and families through pregnancy, parenthood, and the postpartum period.

The sessions will take place daily from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the SHE Building on M. Kuluvehi Buruzu Magu.

According to the organization, the programme will provide information, guidance, and support on key aspects of maternal and family health. The six sessions will cover pregnancy and antenatal care, breastfeeding and complementary feeding, postpartum care and mental health, maternal nutrition and wellness, reproductive health awareness, and support and accessibility.

SHE stated that the initiative seeks to create opportunities for learning and discussion on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, nutrition, family planning, mental well-being, and available support services.

The company stated that the programme is designed to empower participants with knowledge and practical resources while fostering greater awareness of maternal and reproductive health.
