Speaker of Parliament to Attend SDGs Seminar in China

Speaker of Parliament Abdul Raheem Abdulla has travelled to China to take part in the Inter-Regional Seminar on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Parliaments of Developing Countries 2024. 

The seminar is scheduled to run from 18 to 23 August. The six-day event is being jointly organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the National People’s Congress of China. The seminar will concentrate on the role of parliaments in advancing the United Nations’ SDGs.

Speaker Abdulla is accompanied by Parliamentarians Ibrahim Shujau, Mohamed Ismail, and Mohamed Shahid.
