STO to Send Three Employees on Hajj Pilgrimage

MV+ News Desk | June 15, 2023

In 1444, the State Trading Organization (STO) arranged for three employees to go on pilgrimage. The employees are scheduled to depart on June 16. Under this scheme, STO provides an opportunity for its employees to perform the obligatory Hajj if they have not done so before and have completed at least 10 years of service with the company.

The selection process for the pilgrimage involves submitting application forms, and priority is given to the employee who has served the company for the longest period of time and has demonstrated exceptional work performance and attendance. One slot is reserved for this deserving employee, while the remaining slots are allocated through a lottery system.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Hajj pilgrimage for foreign pilgrims traveling to Saudi Arabia was not organized. However, after a delay in the arrangements, STO has made efforts to send its employees on the Hajj in 2022.

The organization intends to continue sending their employees on the sacred pilgrimage in the years to come.
