Stolen Items from Solar Project Site in Hinnavaru Recovered Within Hours

The stolen materials were from the company’s site, working on the solar project in Lh. Hinnavaru were recovered within four hours of the complaint and returned to the owner, according to police.
A case of theft was reported early in the morning on 13 June, involving a significant quantity of materials stolen from the site operated by the solar project company. The Hinnavaru Police promptly launched a search operation, during which the stolen items were found concealed in multiple locations across the island.
Some of the stolen goods were discovered hidden aboard a boat at the Hinnavaru Boatyard, while the rest were located in an abandoned plot of land within the island.
Authorities confirmed that all stolen items, except for an electric impact drill, have been recovered. The returned items include 1,000 metres of DC cable, a cutoff, a welding machine, a petrol gallon, an angle grinder, and battery wrenches.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, and police say the investigation remains ongoing.
