Truecaller Premium Now Available to Ooredoo Customers for MVR 150 via Ooredoo App

Ooredoo Maldives has partnered with Truecaller to offer its customers access to Truecaller Premium through the Ooredoo App for MVR 150 per month.

The subscription is available exclusively to Ooredoo customers through Holhuashi on the Ooredoo App, with charges added to postpaid bills or deducted directly from prepaid credit.

Truecaller Premium offers enhanced spam and scam protection, including real-time blocking of fraudulent and nuisance calls and SMS messages. Other features include profile viewing information, incognito mode, contact requests, an ad-free experience and a Premium profile badge.

Ooredoo Maldives CEO and Managing Director Shadi Qawasmi said the partnership would provide customers with greater convenience, privacy and protection against unwanted communications.

Truecaller Vice President of Premium Products Xavier Trouve said the partnership would make the premium service more accessible to Ooredoo customers and support safer communication through caller identification and spam and scam protection.

Customers can subscribe by opening the Ooredoo App, selecting Holhuashi and choosing Truecaller Premium.

The partnership forms part of Ooredoo Maldives’ efforts to expand Holhuashi as a platform for premium digital services and support its digitalisation initiatives.
