MV+ News Desk | August 26, 2026

The 10th edition of TTM Maldives has officially opened, bringing together more than 500 travel trade professionals for two days of business meetings and networking as the Maldives’ tourism industry seeks to strengthen international partnerships.

The annual travel trade show is being held on 26 and 27 August, with TTM Connect Meetings taking place at Barceló Nasandhura Malé before the event concludes with the TTM Awards & Gala 2026 at CROSSROADS Maldives. More than 130 resorts and hotels are exhibiting at this year’s event, alongside around 250 travel agents, tour operators and local destination management companies from markets around the world.

Organisers said the event is expected to facilitate more than 3,000 pre-scheduled meetings between tourism industry stakeholders. The meetings, scheduled from 10am to 5pm, are being coordinated through the TTM Connect portal, which also provides access to a travel trade directory, industry data and other tourism-related resources.

TTM Maldives, now marking its 10th anniversary, has developed into a major annual platform for tourism businesses to establish commercial relationships, share industry knowledge and explore new opportunities in international markets.

Participants can also use the TTM mobile application to access meeting schedules, event passes, travel trade news and other information throughout the event.

This year’s event is supported by several tourism and business partners, including Visit Maldives Corporation as destination partner, Bank of Maldives as banking partner, Ooredoo Maldives as digital partner, Mastercard as card partner and Maldivian as airline partner. Other partners include Event Maldives, Print Lab Creative, HRS Hospitality & Retail Systems and Souvenir Marine.
