Two Cargo Boxes Stolen from Maldivian Office in Haa Alif Hoarafushi

Police have begun investigating a theft at the Maldivian office in Haa Alif Atoll Hoarafushi, where two cargo boxes were stolen, authorities said today.

The incident was reported at around 3:58am late last night. The stolen items were two cargo boxes, although police did not disclose what they contained, but did share that the robbers smashed the door of the office to get inside.

Police also did not provide details on how many people may have been involved in the theft. No arrests have been made so far.

The investigation remains ongoing.
