The ministry stated that members of the public should seek medical attention immediately if they develop symptoms associated with measles. These symptoms include fever, coughing, watery eyes, skin rashes, and the appearance of red spots on the body.

The ministry emphasised that vaccination remains the most effective defence against measles and urged the public to complete all recommended vaccine doses to ensure protection against the disease.

The ministry also advised the public to exercise caution when interacting with or staying in close proximity to individuals infected with measles to reduce the risk of transmission.

Health authorities continue to monitor the situation and urge the public to remain vigilant and follow recommended preventive measures.
